The company takes its first steps in France, in the village of Montagnieu, from an idea of Antoine Roset, owner of a woodworking factory. One of the first products was the wooden umbrella, followed by walking sticks and chair frames. In the 1950s, the second generation of the founding family took the brand all over the world with contract furniture for schools, universities, hospitals and retirement homes. In 1973 the brand achieved success with the launch of the Togo sofa, signed by Michel Ducaroy, which has become iconic and still today re-proposed and purchased all over the world.
