Aura designed by Giuseppe Bavuso is a new step in Rimadesio’s path of design for internal doors. The idea of a surface of lacquered glass with a thin aluminium frame that fuses into the walls in an increasing measure. It has a thin aluminium surround. Aura is perfectly two-sided, equipped with a two-way opening and a patented magnetic closing system that cannot be seen.
Aura designed by Giuseppe Bavuso is a new step in Rimadesio’s path of design for internal doors. The idea of a surface of lacquered glass with a thin aluminium frame that fuses into the walls in an increasing measure. It has a thin aluminium surround. Aura is perfectly two-sided, equipped with a two-way opening and a patented magnetic closing system that cannot be seen and that does not require an ordinary lock. The exclusive patented die-cast handle is characterised by its lacquered glass insert in the same colour as the doors. Aura represents a project concept which is a recurrent feature of the entire Rimadesio door collection: the gradual elimination of structural elements, as jambs and frames, in order to create doors to be included in living environments in order to enhance the aesthetic aspects of lacquered glass as an exclusive material. A goal accomplished thanks to the reliability of minimum thickness aluminium frames, and to the patented solutions such as the magnetic lock profile, which eliminates the need of a lock. Aura interprets the door as a pure glass surface: an element which characterizes each interior design project, in perfect fusion with space architecture, thanks to the possibility of customizing door height. The Aura swing door equipped with magnetic lock includes the exclusively-designed handle, available in the version with a locking pawl or with key. Technological innovation and arrangement versatility: the Rimadesio collection proposes complete furnishing solutions, characterized by glass aesthetic as “total” material, capable of characterizing all the arrangement elements, from doors to living area systems.
